Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid

5.0

It is undeniable that TJR’s writing has the ability to really tug at you, but the way she talked about love and addiction in this was really beautiful. I listened to the audiobook, and I think it definitely heightened the experience of this novel. My only hangup was that I think the end underwhelmed me a bit, but there was probably a creative choice in not having some big dramatic ending that I don’t understand. My favourite characters have to be Karen and Camila (and Artie). Although I am definitely a lover of romance, it is nice to read a book that gives this painfully realistic perspective on love. (4.9/5)
