Childgrave is nothing like Elizabeth or Hell Hound, but still worth a read. It’s not really scary because of what happens, but because of the main character’s reactions. Truly a stressful book with some memorable characters. Though there were some things that made me apprehensive in a non-horror way… like weird and misplaced sexual moments, the unfortunate stereotype of Nanny Joy, and some kinda complicated musings on things like gayness and abortion.
Graphic: Child death
Minor: Abortion
