I really liked how each species had its own unique traits—it made the world feel interesting. The story itself was just okay for me. The characters were fun, but not a whole lot actually happened in the plot. The romance was definitely the main focus, and while it wasn’t amazing, it was still a fun read overall. I’m still planning to check out book 2!
