Overall I enjoyed this book. I don't know whether there was something last in the translation of it as some times it was a bit dry. There was so many themes of love, domestic violence, women's strength, feminism, grief, poverty and addiction. It was well written and it felt like you were travelling with Violetta however it did lack something for me. Overall I enjoyed it and this was my first time reading this type of genre.
