I must say, there were some unappealing elements in this book that weren't very exciting. However, the first 500 pages and the Sanderlanche completely blew my mind. This was a phenomenal emotional rollercoaster. What a great book.
More specifically regarding the unappealing elements, it was primarily the fabrial science and the deep dive into the technical aspects of Roshar that I found unexciting. However, there was technical aspect after most of the fabrial exploration that I found to be SUPER intriguing.
And I mentioned this was an emotional rollercoaster already, but this book is PAINFUL. I had a difficult time reading this book in the best way possible. The character development and internal struggles are simple extraordinary. I will never understand why people bash Rhythm of War so much. This book was fantastic.
