King of Flesh and Bone by Liv Zander

2.0

🌶️ Rating: 1/5

This takes place in an alternate universe, where the dead come back to life every full moon. The God of flesh and bone has stopped “rotting” them. Ada somehow makes it to his realm, where he basically decides to keep her. The pace of this one was really slow. Enosh, straight up, rapes her. Both the inner monologue and actions of Ada would seem to say she hates him, but then sometimes she doesn’t. I don’t know. Something about their relationship feels off. The ending got interesting and had a cliffhanger. I will check out book 2, but I don’t know if I could recommend this.
