this book definitely my expectations and i loved the character development that we got because it was much needed. i honestly was into it the whole time and found it hard to put it down. BUTTTTTT the plot was messy. with the way wayward son ended i was expecting them to pick back up on that and try and fix the problem that was huge in wayward son. it was talked about like once and was just smoothed over; it felt like it wasn’t even important even though it seemed pretty important. the plot though did allow simon to have closure with his situation and with the world of mages which was something that needed to happen…also niamh and agatha‼️‼️‼️was it perfect??? nope nope nope. did i get annoyed often??? yes. but still i loved it…
