You're Not Supposed to Die Tonight by Kalynn Bayron

3.0

Charity is THE final girl, no, really, it is her job. She works at a camp that is an attraction for those who love the macabre of serial killers. People pay to go yo Camp Mirror Lake to get the sick thrill of trying to be a survivor of the game that is a camp massacre. However, the final game isn't a game at all. Once the locals start becoming aggravated by the dark imitation that is being run on land that has a horrid past, the game is over, or is it?

Charity must rally her coworkers to clean up and close down, but things aren't that simple when true terror lurks in the woods. Will Charity live up to her final girl status? Can she survive the night and move toward a better future?

Overall, the book is a fast-paced read that pulls you in and doesn't let up. The representation that is within the book itself is done very well. It has its flaws in the last bit of the book switching from things that could truly happen in real life into a more patanormal cult aspect. There are several twists and turns that I did not see coming. It's an enjoyable read for sure.
