Probably the best book I've read so far this year, and a book I think all teens, particularly teenage boys, should be encouraged to read. Yes, it's a time-loop story like Groundhog Day, so there are elements that feel like they've been done before, several times, but it's Groundhog Day done well and with a much better ending and message. There's some deep philosophy in there and some solid, practical things to think about too. In terms of the writing, the characters are relatable and three dimensional and the repeats of the same day don't get boring because the author isn't repetitive in the way she tells it.
