Counting on a Countess by Eva Leigh

4.0

Kit needs to be married within a month in order to inherit a fortune left to him by an old war buddy. Tamsyn is in town trying to move her smuggled goods since her fence deserted her, but she isn't having any luck, so now she must find a rich, disinterested husband. What luck that these to meet and agree to a marriage of convenience.
After they are married she finds out how much he hates law breakers and his friend put his wife in charge of the fortune he inherited, ruining his plans as well. These 2 spend the whole book sneaking and seducing and it's a good deal of fun to read, though she got a bit repetitive with her constant I love him but I have to lie to him routine, thankfully all secrets are revealed before it got to be to much and then you just get all the angsty what are they gonna do entertainment.
