A very good book that deals with the horrific nature of a very difficult topic. This one will be a massive trigger for some people so check out the warnings before picking it up. A very important read for parents and teens in the age we live in. It is a very difficult read but also very important I think.

**Very Spoilery Rant**
I am so mad after reading this because this book is still so right about how things are perceived when it comes to sexual assault. Too many people still opt for the boys will be boys and the responsibility is on girls and women to not draw attention to themselves.

The main character is this book is Emma and promiscuous fun loving 18 year old, who is also a bit mean and quite insecure underneath all her bravado. She is not a likeable character but this book does a fantastic job of showing the reader that just because someone dresses or acts a certain ways does not mean that they are “Asking For It”.  There are photos, it is plain to see that what happen to Emma was assault and yet Emma is the bad guy. She is labelled a slut etc. and all her friends drop her.

This is so wrong but is the reality far too often.
