torimacpurr 's review for:
The Lemoncholy Life of Annie Aster
by Scott Wilbanks
It was very imaginative which I liked, and full of interesting people. But it was sometimes difficult to read as I often felt like pieces of the story were missing, while other times there was too much going on.
The whole book could have been about how Edmond and Christian met and bonded, but instead their story was an ambiguous sideline. We saw glimpses of it without enough context. Very frustrating.
