When All Is Said by Anne Griffin

4.0

What's not to love about Maurice Hannigan? This tough but loving, sensitive but strong irish farmer?
In When All Is Said we hear Maurice's story from his own words, on a monologue he created on his mind, as if talking to his son who lives in the United States.
The monogue happens during one evening, when he toasts the 5 more important people that crossed his path and, by him remembering those people we get to listed to his life's story.
When All Is Said is a very nicely written story that will make you fall in love with its central character and all around him.
