David Attenborough could write an entire book on ants and I’d read it. This book is a winding story of how the animals and bugs in this world exist in its ever changing climate. He tells of quirky habits of various bees and of the mating habits of various birds as well as every creature in between. It’s heartbreaking learning how we have changed the world so much that these animals suffer and also how some animals have to manage just to survive under normal circumstances. He narrates this beautifully and compassionately. A wonderful listen that teaches us way we should care about the planet we live on.
