At first, it was a very slow read. I truly felt bad for Carrie, the main character wife, as she had to go through the realization that her husband was actually cheating and planning on leaving her and the kids. Aside from that stress in person, she also started to fall for the other husband that is also getting cheated on. In her own way, she was also cheating. I started to root for her on dating the other guy, but then the "cheaters" decided to cut it off leaving Carrie and David to cut their friendship as well. This made me sad in the end for Carrie and David, but I guess they felt it was for the best.
