This started off slow to me - I might have binged Murderbot too much - good job I only have a short story left! - and there was a lot of political negotiation going on.

Partly tense, in a slow way, as Murderbot creeps through a deserted giant hangar expecting monsters to jump out.

But then at one point
the only way for Murderbot to beat the bad guys is to make a media film of its own! Watching thousands of hours of media finally comes in useful (true, it has been useful in the past for Murderbot at times, trying to understand human reactions) as Murderbot and the humans put together all the clips they've recorded, storyboard it, add voice over and music, to send to a group of humans who haven't had new media in decades, in order to get them to agree to something.
Genius.
