Some of the prose in this book is incredible. Though sometimes the writing ends up being more tell than show, when the writing prevails it PREVAILS.
This book was so so heart-wrenching. Given that it was written and published DECADES ago and the fact that currently, there is still no actual ceasefire and an end to the blockade, it's just so heart wrenching. I lack the words to describe the utter gut wrenching emotions I have towards Palestine. I think of and pray everyday for the day the world finally decides enough is enough, and I await the celebration of its liberation.
