I'm not sure I have the right words to describe this book but I will try. Reading the Invisible Life of Addie LaRue is a slow journey into the weight of time and the permanence of what it is to be alive. Three hundred years Addie has lived without being seen, without being known, and I felt every step she took from her very beginning right in my soul. I cried, I gasped, and boy did I love.
