Spirited Situation by Louisa Masters
5.0
Spirited Situation (Ghostly Guardians #1) by Louisa Masters was a fun read. I recently read Masters Hidden Species series for the first time (I know, I know. Should have read it sooner.) When I saw Spirited Situation available for review from Gay Romance Reviews, I requested it. I devoured it and am eagerly awaiting the next entry in the series.
There was so much to like in this book. The romance between Josh and Ewan starts with a bang but eventually offers the hope of a long-term relationship. I absolutely loved Josh's vulnerability. Masters writes Josh so well the reader can feel the burden he carries. Ewan is a kind man. The world needs more kind men, kind people actually. Ewan's kindness is so foreign to Josh's experience that he struggles to understand. I think of the two, Ewan is my favorite and it is for his kindness that I chose him. The secondary characters of Kieran, Dan, and Sky are interesting enough to possibly appear in future books.
I recommend this book to anyone who likes a good romance with a little paranormal thrown in. Especially for anyone who enjoyed any or all of Masters' previous books.
