I loved this dark and stormy aftermath of a Chosen One story. Has a Buffy like feel that doesn’t pull any punches about what it would be like to live with the fame, fortune, and lostness of being a former chosen one. It tackles finding yourself and who you are when the battle is over, a fierce look at PTSD. Sloan and her friends have been there and done that taking down the Dark One ten years ago; but she has never really moved on. Now they get sucked into a magic filled parallel Earth and are once again tasked with taking down a big bad or else.
