OH. MY. GOD. That was

Seriously, this book totally deserves a

After the previous NFH book (Checkmate), I was worried. It didn't live up to the previous books, it was just a 3.5-4 star read for me. But this one was the very best of what makes this series so great. I loved every moment of Elizabeth & Robert's story. I couldn't put it down. I should have been reading a book I have to review but once this was released, I was drawn to it. I had to read it. No other book would do. No other books existed for me.

And I wasn't the least bit disappointed.

Yes, this is a historical book, but it's more a historical "lite" book. It's set in the past, and there are some historical words but it doesn't have complicated histroical language. And at times it was possible to forget that it was historical. So if the fact that is is historical worries you, don't let it. You seriously need to pick up this book, clear your schedule and read this book! It's well worth it and you won't regret it.
