the most important and devastating book i've read in a long time. unimaginable horrors occur for me to type this from my mobile phone. this book reminds you of this, not to suggest that it is possible to disconnect from the horror, but to remind us of the extent to which greed and capitalism has consumed our lives and how the disempowered and vulnerable are the ones to pay for it with theirs.
