The Devotion of Suspect X by Keigo Higashino

3.0

I'd give this an additional half-star, and I reserve the right to change my three to a four after thinking about it a while longer.

Higashino has written a tightly packed mystery in which, although we know who is killed and who has committed the crime, we don't know anywhere near the full story until the very end. I was continually surprised, always in a good way, and even though I frequently suspected elements of the real story, I was only a tiny bit right each time. It's fun, interesting, and original. Highly recommended.
