Big Jim Begins by Dav Pilkey

5.0

I liked this a lot, even if Big Jim is a little bit like that annoying kid you just wish would shut up. The dynamic of BJ and Grampa reminded a lot of Del Griffith, if he was a five year old, and Neil Page from Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. I loved when BJ said that a jail could be your own mind of your past mistakes, etc. I almost feel like Dav was talking about sin here without actually talking about sin, so that was kinda neat. That made him seem a lot wiser. This was really funny but like that part was really cool. Also the fact that Dav based BJ off a Bible verse is really neat. I can’t wait for the next one!
