Her Final Hour, the second book in the Detective Gina Harte series is an enthralling crime thriller. That really packs a punch as D.I. Harte is tasked to investigate the murder of wife and mother Melissa Sanderson and what she and her team uncover is a husband with an alibi, and a group of friends whose wives seem to all be like something out of the 1970s and as more questions arise and evidence comes to light someone seems determined to stop D.I.Harte from getting her killer.
And with bags of suspense, edge-of-your-seat moments, twists and a killer I did not see coming. This was a fantastic read, and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough.
Would happily recommend.
