Sweet story about a young girl, Sophia, and her family as they make the move from urban living to life on a farm. The story is told through letters written by Sophia to her deceased Abuela, Great Uncle Jim, and a woman she thinks is the owner of a poultry farm. Unusual chickens start to appear on her farm and as the story progresses, Sophia has to figure out how to care for them as well as how to hang on to them in the face of a possible poultry thief! With a little help from friends, neighbors, and mysterious owner of the poultry farm, Sophia makes the adjustment to farm life after being a city girl.
