The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab

1.0

I do not know why I even finished reading this. I was so close to stopping so many times but began to skim at about 40% through to see if it would get even a tiny bit better after Henry was introduced. It did not. I did not care about Addie nor anything that she did. There was potential for the story with so many interesting historical times but the inner twining of Luc, her “power” over him and 300 years just did not work!. It was so easy for me to skip and skim the meaningless past time period. I am not sure why so much of that was even there. Her whining about being forgotten, no place to live, stealing food, blah, blah blah. For some reason some of the Henry part was more interesting but not much. Addie’s sacrifice of a sacrificed life did not even begin to make sense. Luc in love with her, not believable. Total waste of time
