A novella introducing us to a heroine at the start of her adventure. This sentence has been intentionally vague, because the less you know, the more you'll like it. Short as it is, it definitely reminded me of Tanith Lee's Birthgrave: an extraordinary woman awakens without memories in what is definitely a fantasy novel. Eagerly awaiting the next installment.
