Maybe my favorite Hamish MacBeth mystery, so far! A great story with interesting twists, but MC Beaton’s brilliance lies in her ability to paint I interesting characters with a minimal amount of prose! Even the most minor characters are vivid! And Hamish and Priscilla make great strides in their ongoing “drama”!
