Algorithms to Live by: The Computer Science of Human Decisions
by Tom Griffiths, Brian Christian
This book is pretty interesting when you look at the current landscape of AI. With chatGPT making headlines everywhere, this book can really help understand the errors, bias and human nature that we are building into artificial intelligence. I saw in a review not to expect tips on how to apply these algorithms in your life. In agree, but the book does do a good job, explaining how to think about these biological algorithms built into our brains. Hopefully, with that information I can see algorithmic patterns. My brain puts myself into them, can adopt decisions, and thinking processes as I noticed them.
