Maine by J. Courtney Sullivan

I initially picked this book up because it is set in Maine, an almost put it right back down after reading the reviews that mentioned how unlike able each of the main characters is. Now, after finishing the book, I'm glad that I stuck with it! The only picture-perfect component of the book is the setting - the family summer hose and cottage in my very favorite of all locations. Each of the human characters is completely realistic, and for that, I loved the book!
