This graphic novel is faithful to the source material. It tells the fourth Wings of Fire story (from Starflight's perspective) in a more visual fashion but with all the important elements. For this series, you really do need to have read the prior books to get the most out of this. While it has its own internal plot and story arc, it contains and references elements of a five book plot.
