There are major editorial errors and character inconsistencies that someone should have caught in the editing process. The plot was engaging towards the end but the beginning of the book is way too slow I almost did not finish the book many many times (it took months to finish). I did get teary eyed at the end because I have my own challenges in the relationship with my mother and that is a major theme of this book. I think it was a good idea and had a fun teen romance but could have been better developed.
