This was a quick, funny, thoughtful read about the parasites inside us all. I really liked Enid's character and her growth over the course of the book. Relationships in this book really shine, and I liked getting to see the challenges and triumphs of Enid's relationships with her sisters, with Gina, with Polly, and with her mother. I was really captivated the last 80 pages or so and read very quickly. I still don't fully understand the fear of bald men thing. Also, the resolutions to some of the plot points were kind of underwhelming, but maybe that was the point, like, to show how paranoid her various diagnoses made Enid. Overall a good quick read with some really well-written characters and relationships.
Moderate: Fire/Fire injury
