Secret North by G.J. Walker-Smith
4.5
Watching Ryan Decarie falling in love was nothing short of an experience.
I loved watching him and Bente trying to navigate being in an adult relationship with each other. I loved their dynamic and honestly, I was Ryan's number one fan by the time we reached this book.
Ryan and Bridget's relationship was so sweet and adorable, but I fully understood Bente's frustration with how Bridget treated her, her things and how Ryan was prone to letting her away with doing whatever she wanted to do. If I was being put second in place of a four year old, I'd be pretty annoyed at the whole thing, too.
Ryan had his douchey moments in this, but when he gave Bridget her wings back? Swoon.
