Wow. The only reason I didnt read this book in one sitting is because I fell asleep with it in my hand because I was so exhausted. I definitely did not want to put this book down, it was so good!
The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because Pup / Goodie and Mauf haven't been in the narragaive for a while and we haven't received an explanation for one of them. The reason why Pup hasn't been present felt haphazard and thrown in last minute. But, the reunion was so cute it made me tear up so I might be able to forgive some of it! I'm also a sucker for a book's title being used within the pages, so that's another plus for me haha.
The last chapter especially was very emotional for me because I feel so connected to these characters; a true sign of great writing! Even the plot in general was superb! I really enjoyed the inclusion of Merlin and the explanation of this millenia-old magickal being. The next part of Ves' journey is going to be so substantial and I am so excited to tag along for the ride!
