When I think of Capote I think of his stylish over the top prose like [b:Breakfast at Tiffany's|251688|Breakfast at Tiffany's|Truman Capote|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1477015353l/251688._SY75_.jpg|2518209] and [b:In Cold Blood|168642|In Cold Blood|Truman Capote|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1424931136l/168642._SY75_.jpg|1940709]. In Cold Blood he actually inserts himself in a true crime case, and gives it flair that makes a new genre (literary nonfiction). I found these stories to be more subtle and reminds me of what I think Capote was like as a child growing in Alabama. This collection of short stories is a great brief look at Capote's writing style. This reminds me, I need to read more Capote and his peers.
