Verity by Colleen Hoover

4.0

Verity; the opposite of Verity is not knowing what the real truth actually is. This book definitely a dark, disturbing and psychopathic -- for how the author herself and Verity for keeping the thrilled in this book moving.

But, I can see that we were too occupied with the thrilled from the second story through Verity's p.o.v that we were not aware and overlooking the fact of us not knowing anything really is about the characters. Perhaps that's why the suspense will stay even though the story has ended -- at least for me. Because the truth is, nobody knows whether Verity or Jeremy are as they are, when we mostly only know them through another fictional in a fiction. And I don't sit well with the romance between Lowen and Jeremy -- I don't think that their relationship is justifiable at all. Not even if what Verity did was true.

To conclude, this is a great book indeed to have you keep flipping to another page out of excitement it brought, to have your curiosity bore you to keep reading. Although for me the ending was a rush and quite abrupt and didn't match the whole energy from the entire story.
