The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame
2.0

I really enjoyed the first few chapters. Mole going out to make friends and learning about the river was fun. Meeting Badger and venturing into the woods was interesting. Toad was entertaining.

But about midway through it lost me. There were sections that seemed unnecessary or confusing. Then the whole thing with Toad got annoying. It ended abruptly and wasn’t very satisfying to me. I guess I can see why it’s a beloved story and I’m glad I read it, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it.
