This book told me I had mommy issues in several different ways. I couldn’t quite enjoy it because I relate so much to Jennette. This book was extremely difficult for me to read and it took me awhile to finish it. I should’ve known going into this it was gonna trigger me though. Besides that it is very well written. Just check trigger warnings before reading. And don’t read this if you’re struggling with an eating disorder. I don’t get triggered easily, but this book is pretty detailed about some aspects. So know you’re boundaries. I should have.
