Much better than Book 1 (although you have to read Haunting Adeline to understand this storyline).
The storyline is brutal, soul destroying and heartbreaking. Half of the book focuses on sex trafficking with some DARK writing and scenes. The chapters are graphic and make your heart ache knowing this is some people’s reality. Probably not a storyline I’ll forget for a while.
The main characters grow into their own in this book. Addie and Zade becoming much more likable. The smut between them also takes on a MUCH darker vibe. But you’re glad to hear everyone’s comeuppance.
Sibby is and will forever be, my favourite. Her and her henchmen are hilarious.
