The Third Kingdom by Terry Goodkind

3.0

As with many of the SOT books, from Temple of the Winds through Naked Empire, it feels tired and longer than it needs to be to tell the plot. Because of that the climax feels like a predictable let-down. The first 3/4 of the book the dialogue is question, repeat question, answer, question, repeat question, answer... between Richard and Samantha. So much more is explained than need be. And then...Zombies????...like we needed more zombies in today's market. A guilty pleasure if you're familiar with the books but definitely not Mr. Goodkind's best work.
