I really loved the way Murakami writes, the longing and reflective paragraphs made my heart ache. I think it was truly amazing the way he is able to capture the feeling of nostalgia. Sometimes the feeling gets lost especially around the middle of the book. However, I do feel that intense ache in my chest whenever he describes the fleeting youth we all face. I am only upset with the misogyny in the book at times I would sit there thinking how amazing it could have been.
