The Bound Worlds by Megan E. O'Keefe
5.0

The third book in the Devoured Worlds series delivers more twists, action, and heart, leading to a satisfying conclusion.

Layers upon layers upon layers… in less accomplished hands, this would have fallen apart. Not with O’Keefe. She excels at creating compelling characters who face complex conflicts with no easy resolutions.

And while the conflict has far-reaching consequences in the world O’Keefe built, she keeps the focus on the characters who have the most at stake (Tarquin, Naira, and a few other stellar POVs).

If O’Keefe ever revisits this world, I’ll happily read more.

The cover art for the series is phenomenal. Hats off to Lauren Panepinto for the cover design and Jaime Jones for the cover illustration.

I’d recommend this to readers who enjoyed:
The Imperial Radch series by Ann Leckie
The Green Bone Saga by Fonda Lee
The Rook and Rose series by M.A. Carrick
The Books of the Raksura series by Martha Wells
The Raven Scholar by Antonia Hodgson
