i honestly adored this sequel SO MUCH. the romance is so so good is the book. the world building is amazing. the story just keep getting better and better!! although poppy definitely asks a lot of questions (i had to continuously remind myself that we as readers want the same answers she does) and she and cas really struggle with communication a lot, overall this was such a good read. i’m not a huge fan of the miscommunication trope, but i feel like it was reasonable within this book because there is so much unknown. i LOVE poppy. she is such a badass MC and i cannot wait to finally figure out what she is and what that means for atlantia. casteel is TOO MUCH.
