I usually write reviews right after I finish a book and I know exactly how I feel about the book. I’ve been sitting with this one for a bit and I still don’t know exactly how I feel about it. I really enjoyed the feminist rage parts, and the parts that reflected on what it means to be a woman/wife/mother. I’ve never wanted children, and this book only solidified that, but I also never really understood feeling maternal, but the parts where Nightbitch describes motherhood from a dog’s perspective I was like “oh yeah I understand that” so idk what that says about me. Overall I’m not really sure what exactly I didn’t like about this book, but I think maybe it was just a little too long and I found myself confused at times. In the end I did enjoy this and am glad that I read it.
