Murder Your Employer: The McMasters Guide to Homicide by Rupert Holmes

4.0

"Murder Your Employer" by Rupert Holmes offers a riveting story following the lives of students at McMaster’s Conservatory of Applied Arts, an academy where the subject of study is murder. Classes range from Tracking (no, it’s not what you may be thinking) to “Deletion,” a more elevated term used for taking someone's life.

The book offers excitement and quite a bit of dry humor, reminding me ever so slightly of the dialogue from "Parks and Recreation." It's a fine example of taking a concept and opening the reader's mind to a world where anything can happen. Ranking highly for me, "Murder Your Employer" receives a four-star rating.

The audiobook is narrated by Neil Patrick Harris and Simon Vance, both wonderful choices for bringing this writing to life.
