Angry God
by L.J. Shen
This book was a tragedy. It was beautiful, horrible and incredibly artistic.
LJ Shen knows what she does when she puts pen to paper and she didn’t disappoint this time. Angry God is definitely my favourite book of hers, and it will always be.
Vaughn isn’t angry, he’s not mad, he’s not happy, he’s not sad. He’s merely biding his time with the mere mortals around him until he can fulfil his prophecy.
Lenora is angry, she’s scared, she’s sad and she’s utterly mad. She’s been forgotten, left to her own devices, but just when she thought her saving grace would be back in England, she realises that there’s something scary waiting to devour her.
When she braves the God, she never expects for him to love her and Vaughn definitely doesn’t think he’ll keep her.
How deep will the mighty fall? This truly is a tale of the evil, the wicked, and the saviours.
Ars Longa, Vita Brevis.
