This book is stunning and everyone should read it.
I learned quite a bit about the shambolic investigation surrounding the horrific attacks made by Peter Sutcliffe in the 1970s but that’s not really what this book is about. It is about growing up as a woman in a society riddled with misogyny and on that front it is very powerful.
