On the eve of his wedding Ethan discovers his fiancé betrayal. After his world blows up he goes on his honeymoon alone, a dream trip to Australia.

This somehow manages to pack so much depth into its pages, handling each significant issue with care, and somehow remains so totally sweet and hopeful. Ethan was such a brave character. I couldn't not root for him. Not only is he on the other side of the world on vacation, which should have been a honeymoon, but he also navigates this with significant hearing loss. I would have been hiding in the hotel room too afraid to try anything. Clay was taking care of Ethan from the jump, he was a total cinnamon roll. Also, so brave with his story arc. This was one where maybe I didn’t 100% get why these two worked but they worked and I was rooting for them and their HEA. I loved that epilogue.
